This AVO virtual course is designed to train industry technicians about NFPA 70E standards that were developed to protect workers from the dangers/hazards of electricity.
This training is specifically designed for workers who may interact with electrical systems and equipment on a daily basis. Technicians will learn about various types of electrical hazards and how to conduct a thorough risk assessment before starting any electrical work.
The course explains common electricity hazards; provides risk assessment strategies; gives an understanding of the hierarchy of risk controls and safe work practices for electrical work; and covers all other pertinent NFPA 70E information.
