AVO's electrical safety certification for McDonald's In-House Technicians

A Leader in the Food Service Industry

AVO electrical safety certification has been specifically written for McDonald’s In-House Technicians (IHT’s). This course provides an electrical safety certification which is a prerequisite for taking IHT repair certification training with the respective equipment suppliers.

This 3-day training course is designed to meet mandated training requirements specified in OSHA 29 CFR 1910 Subpart S and includes NFPA 70E Electrical Safety training. McDonald’s In-House Kitchen Technicians who work on or near exposed energized conductors or circuit parts must receive training to perform the work safely. This course familiarizes technicians with safe work practices which must be used while working on commercial electrical kitchen equipment.

Safe work practices for the control of hazardous electrical energy to ensure a safe electrical work environment through lockout/tagout and the selection of personal protective equipment for various tasks are covered in great detail. This course provides equipment-specific information needed to perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair work safely on each listed type of kitchen equipment. This course is also beneficial for managers who oversee technicians who work on electrical kitchen equipment. Managers who attend will be provided with information vital for creating a safer work environment for all their employees.

AVO is a pre-requisite course provider for many Taylor®, Garland®, Frymaster®, Franke®, Melitta®, Henny Penny®, Bunn®, Prince Castle®, Manitowoc® and Antunes® machines.
