WHO SHOULD ATTEND

This hands-on course is intended for new or experienced electricians and technicians that install, maintain, repair or troubleshoot power and auxiliary systems.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this course, the participant should be able to:

  • Explain the fundamentals, basic principles, and requirements of grounding and bonding.
  • Identify and utilize grounded conductors.
  • Describe ground-fault circuit interrupter requirements.
  • Select the appropriate grounding system and discuss the implications.
  • Outline grounding electrode systems and its requirements.
  • Relate bonding requirements and their importance.
  • Establish the requirements for the installation of equipment grounding and bonding conductors.
