Position:Contract Instructors
Location:Dallas (TX)
Description:AVO Training Institute, Inc., a leading worldwide electrical maintenance, testing, and safety training organization is seeking qualified Contract Instructors. Primary responsibilities include course presentations (utilizing lecture as well as hands-on laboratory instruction), providing customer support, and some course curriculum development, as needed.

The available Contract Instructor positions require a minimum of ten (10) years hands-on field experience and extensive knowledge in areas such as substation equipment maintenance and testing; electro-mechanical protective relays: OSHA and NFPA 70E electrical safety; and motor control circuitry. Instructors must also be proficient in computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Power Point. Instructors are required to travel primarily domestic, with limited international.

Position:Senior Training Consultant
Location:Dallas (TX) or Norristown (PA)
Description:AVO Training Institute, Inc. (Subsidiary of Megger), a leading worldwide electrical power training organization, offers excellent opportunities for Part-Time Contract Instructors to teach primarily in the Eastern United States. Responsibilities include course presentations, utilizing lecture, as well as laboratory instruction and provide customer support when needed.

The position requires a minimum of ten (10) years of hands-on field experience and extensive knowledge in:

- Electro-Mechanical Protective Relay Maintenance and Testing (to include our basic, advanced and generation relays)

- Solid-State Protective Relay Maintenance and Testing

Experience with microprocessor-based protective relaying would be a plus.

We are seeking part time instructors who are willing to travel through the eastern United States and possiblity other national and international locations.
