ELECTRICAL Shock HAZARD
NFPA 70E-2018 130.4 REQUIRES THAT A SHOCK RISK ASSESSMENT BE CONDUCTED
AVO EED will facilitate a Risk Assessment process with key members of the client’s staff in an effort to better understand their current Electrical Safety Program and how related risk elements have been addressed and can be improved. AVO offers this Arc Flash Risk Assessment (AFRA) service to assist our clients in meeting the compliance demands of the changing world of NFPA 70E. The Hazard Assessment is required by OSHA, and the Risk Assessment is required by NFPA 70E. Both are used to determine increased risk factors for employees who are, or may be, exposed to an arc flash incident. Because the approach to a Risk Assessment can vary and be subjective, AVO offers what we believe a Risk Assessment should include at a minimum.
